What is Gonerfest?
- Gonerfest is a festival in Memphis organized by Goner Records. The festival is known for its intimate setting and cutting edge mix of bands. Bands who have played Gonerfest include Shannon & The Clams, Mudhoney, Guitar Wolf, Ty Segall, Cosmic Psychos, Osees, Oblivians, Robyn Hitchcock, Derv Gordon, Bill Orcutt & Chris Corsano, King Brothers, The Oh Sees, The King Khan & BBQ Show, Negative Approach, Compulsive Gamblers, Reatards, Amyl & The Sniffers, Eddy Current Suppression Ring, AWFM, Snooper, Black Lips, New Bomb Turks, Gories, Mummies, Fred & Toody Cole, Carbonas, Leather Uppers, Head, The Gizmos, X_X, Wreckless Eric, The Hipshakes, Human Eye, Sonny Vincent, Sick Thoughts, Icky Boyfriends, and tons and tons more. 20 festivals at 30 + bands per festival = 600 plus bands!
This year's festival will run from Thursday September 24 through Sunday September 27, 2026 in Memphis, TN.
Bands begin Thursday afternoon around 5, and run through 10PM on Sunday.
Sunday at the Overton Park Shell is truly magical - open-air amphitheater that holds up to 3000 people. Plan on staying through Sunday!
There is a Dance Party / Gonerfest Comedown later Sunday evening that has been a highlight every year. It's a great chance to hang out with folks without raging bands playing.
Plan on getting here early and staying til Monday if you can!
Are There Tickets For Gonerfest 23?
- Golden Passes are available!
Tickets here!
Golden Passes give you entrance to each day's events, as well as a goodie bag of bonus stuff. In the past, this has been tote bags, records, koozies, and more great stuff.
Do We Get A Physical Ticket?
- The Golden Pass is not a physical ticket- we will scan your bar code and get you a wristband for the festivities in September.
What is this Technology / Shipping Fee?
- The Ticketing / Technology fee covers the cost of the ticketing app and the Gonerfest 23 livestream bandwidth.
Are There Individual Day Tickets For Gonerfest 23?
- There will be tickets available closer to the fest.
What Is the Lineup For Gonerfest 23?

I Bought Tickets - Now What?
- You will get an email with a note to download tickets- this will download the ticket to your phone or computer. You can use this off your phone at the festival, or you can print off a hard copy.
There is also an Apple Wallet ticket you can download and save to your Apple Wallet.
What's This About A Livestream?
- There will be a livestream! Over the past few years we have perfected our own brand of high tech / Budget Rock livestream. It's really insane, and the best way to participate / enjoy the festival if you can't make it to Memphis!

The Gonerfest 23 Livestream will be FREE this year- with the option to give back to the hardworking stream team if you desire. Please tune in! It's amazing!
Is Gonerfest 23 All Ages?
- Yes! Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
Where Do I Stay For Gonerfest 23?
- See our Hotels / Lodging Page for information soon! We will have hotel deals with Memphis hotels, and there are many other hotels and Air BnB options in the general vicinity of the event location.
What About Afterparties?
- There will be afterparties! Stay tuned!
I Bought Tickets But Cannot Attend. Can I Get A Refund?
We realize life happens- we can refund tickets until September 1st. Tickets are easy to transfer to new Gonerfesters!
This Is An Outdoor Festival. What About Rain?
This is an outdoor event that will occur rain or shine. Attendees should prepare for the possibility of inclement weather. In the event of severe, life-threatening weather, the event may be canceled or delayed. Updates will be posted on Facebook and Instagram. No refunds will be issued for weather-related delays or cancellations.
What is Gonerfest again?
- Gonerfest is Goner's premiere festival, where exciting music from Memphis and around the world collides in four days of non-stop action, drawing fans from across the US and around the globe. 25+ bands playing, with afterparties providing even more action.
Our 23th edition will have exclusive extras- if you've never been to Gonerfest, this is one not to miss. If you have been to one or more, this is one to return for!
