SPACECASE RECORDS - “Illuminator” b/w ”Tastes Metallic” is the debut single from General Labor. General Labor is the Memphis-based project of Corbin Linebarier. It’s the sound of electronic music done right. Think Robert Rental, early Destruction Unit, and fellow Memphians Optic Sink and Cloudland Canyon (who Linebarier also performs with). In addition to playing shows around Memphis, General Labor scored the soundtrack to the silent-animated film, The Adventures of Prince Achmed (1926), at Memphis’ Crosstown Theater.
