GONERFEST 17
Our online festival during Covid was wild! We had no idea if all this would work... after an epic Jack O set on top of Crosstown Building in Memphis we zoomed all the way to New Zealand for a live set. And... it worked! Thanks here to all the folks who believed... we were (are!) still doing this by the seat of our pants. We were sooo happy people came together to make this happen, literally from around the world, with no chance of making any money.

GONERFEST 18
Our first "live" livesteamed festival was a huge technological achievement for a bunch of folks putting together on no budget and with camcorders from the 1990s! RCA Cables strung all over Railgarten, donated equipment, stoked volunteer camera ops getting rowdy in the pit! We had our difficulties, but remember- we were livestreaming 30 hours+ of concert with no experience!
GONERFEST 19
Gonerfest 19 was a little easier in that we had done it once before, but with over 30 bands and a flaky house soundman, we had our work cut out for us. Andrew McCalla, our Gonerfest soundman, is a true warrior! Without a budget for backup, a lot can go wrong at any moment. Doing this livestream is like doing two festivals at once, and it definitely took its toll by the end. At the same time, we had lots of folks in the chat watching from all over the world, and the footage is incredible. All hail our intrepid crew!
