The Field Drift series began as a series of electronic experiments during a period of loss, moving from famliar places and watching people and places move farther out of reach. The tracks are intended to be minimal compositions with unfamiliar technology, and each track is approached difrerntly, reflecting entry into new spaces from the comforts of old environments. Music is a journey and a trip through sonic lands, calling nowhere and everywhere home, wherever you are is where you need to be, but there's other places to go.

All songs were written, performed, recorded, mixed, mastered and sequenced by Dr. Pete Larson in Washtenaw County, MI, Summer of 2023.

All songs recorded on some combination of: Elektron Digitakt, Moog Mavis, Moog DFAM, ASM Hydrasynth, Prophet Rev2, some nameless DIY synth in a white box, Earthquaker reverbs, a Boss Slicer pedal, some nameless DIY delay, a broken Uher Report Monitor 4000 that I found in the trash. Some other stuff.

All recordings were performed live and recorded to two track.
