Third LP from Memphis metal band Nights Like These, released almost 8 years after their 2007 LP on Victory. Put out Seasick Records in Birmingham, this has never been released on wax until now.

Nights Like These is an interesting blip in the hardcore/metal underground of the mid-2000's. Labeled "metalcore", the band found quick success by signing to Victory Records and hitting the road to support their first LP "The Faithless". Contemporaries could include Between the Buried and Me, Despised Icon, As I Lay Dying, or even August Burns Red, however, in true Memphis tradition, their sound and performances were entirely unique to the scene in which they were grouped. Already hometown heroes in Memphis before they signed, Nights Like These combined elements of sludge/doom with slightly more complex arrangements, speed, and high volume. The second LP, "Sunlight at Secondhand", teetered into a sludgier realm with longer tracks and spacier sounds. The band was clearly growing, so much so that a departure from Victory occurred and the group laid dormant until this record here. It is, arguably, their strongest release.
