Emma Swift is an Australian songwriter. She lives in Nashville, TN with the British cult musician Robyn Hitchcock.

A gifted singer inspired by Sandy Denny, Marianne Faithfull and a plethora of dead poets, her new album "The Resurrection Game" explores themes of sex, death, spirituality, depression, redemption and radical self-acceptance.

Hello dear reader,

I am delighted to share that my new album The Resurrection Game will be out on Tiny Ghost Records on September 12, 2025.

It was made with love and care at Chale Abbey Studios on the Isle of Wight, and also at The Duck in Nashville, TN.

The songs are about romance, desire, my real-life nervous breakdown, spirituality, hope, and radical self-acceptance.

I'm too close to the record to know how to describe it, except to say that it's a confessional, folky-singer-songwriter album with opulent strings.
